Full day excursion to Lisbon, one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in Europe:
Portugal's capital city offers a rich variety of monuments, typical facades covered with tiles, lights, sounds, colors, fun, festivals and characteristic nightclubs where, sometimes, happen to hear the melancholy notes of a guitar that mentions a Fado . Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Departure for Queluz, visit the Royal Palace, the building inspired the construction of Versailles. It starts to Sintra, the summer residence of Portuguese kings certainly among the richest and most beautiful villages of the country, inspiration for poets like Lord Byron, who called it the "Garden of Eden" . Visit the Royal Palace and the old town of Villa. Proceed to the Cape da Roca, " Promontorium Magnum " of the Romans , the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Starting over Cascais, an old fishing settlement, final resting place of the late King Umberto II of Italy and continues to Estoril, refined center cosmopolitan. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon transfer to Fatima, visit the Sanctuary and continuation to Porto. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Visit Porto, a city of unusual charm and sophisticated shops, facades with bright tiles and hanging clothes to dry, lively chatter that fill the streets. You can watch the Clérigos Tower, symbol of Porto; the Church of San Francisco; the old town, which extends around the Avenida dos Aliados and the Ribeira. Visit a winery and tasting characteristic of fine port wine. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
In the morning, departure to Guimarães, known as "the cradle of the nation" , the first capital of the kingdom of Portugal and birthplace of the first Portuguese king, Dom Afonso Henriques. Visit the magnificent Ducal Palace, the Gothic style of the fifteenth century. Continuation to Braga, considered the " Portuguese Rome " for its wealth of churches. Visit the old town and climb to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, through its monumental staircase. Proceed to Barcelos, home to a craft market famous for porcelain, earthenware jars figurines and colorful pottery in the shape of a rooster, a symbol of Portugal. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to the airport of Porto, with assistance for boarding operations.
